Pardis Parker

  • Name : Pardis Parker
  • Shows : College

Pardis Parker is the creator and star of Comedy Central's Mideast Minute, and has repeatedly been lauded on stage and screen for his "big, expressive eyes." Born in Sri Lanka to Iranian-Sri Lankan parents and raised in Canada, he's worked and volunteered extensively abroad, including stints at the UN Headquarters in New York, and in countries around the world such as Guadeloupe, Australia, and the Solomon Islands, where he survived malaria and escaped a military coup. He's performed at comedy clubs across North America and Europe, has appeared on shows for ABC, CBS, CBC, Showcase, Family Channel, and others, and was a fan favorite on Comedy Central's @midnight. GQ Spain anointed him a "brown Steve Carell," Radio Canada dubbed him a "modern Mr. Bean," and the Toronto Sun hailed him as Canada's next great comedy talent - the "next in line" after Mike Myers and Jim Carrey.
